Primary Responsibilities Have a strong knowledge of PeopleSoft core functionality, set-up tables, table structures, PeopleTools development application, and Microsoft Office applications interfacing with PeopleSoft (e.g., Excel, Word, and Visio). Knowledge of MS Access is not required, but desirable. Possess a strong understanding of data management tools and programs, supporting upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects. Be the systems administrator for HR systems, and providing backup for the HRIS Specialist in day-to-day production support of the HR line and staff departments (e.g., HR Regional and Division Managers, Salary Administrators, Benefits, Organizational Development, Staffing and Compensation). Provide data and system support to HR users and assists in building reports in SQR, OTG, Visio and PeopleSoft Query. The HRIS Analyst I would be proficient in help desk support for OTG report distribution and Westcorp distributed check printing. Provide primary technical support to the Corporate Benefits department, working as the PeopleSoft system subject matter expert (SME), and as a liaison with the outsourced third party benefits providers (e.g., 401k, Health and Welfare, frozen Pension Plan). Have a strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Security and have the ability to develop security trees, departments, roles, users, locations, establishments and permission lists. Be the Security Administrator for all HR applications to include PeopleSoft, OTG, and Westcorp. Ensure there is a secure data environment for PeopleSoft and other HR applications to maintain the integrity of the data and prevent unauthorized access. Be responsible for enforcing access policies, creating access levels, employee ids for new users and end user support for any data access issues. Be responsible for all reports into and out of PeopleSoft including SQRs, queries (ad hoc or maintenance reports). Supports users by assisting in the creation of queries/reports or by providing in Excel, Visio, PDF, XML, HTML, or printed format. Develops and deliver Query training to users. Be responsible for maintenance, support, development and changes to third party interfaces such as 401k, FSA, Stock Option, Health and Welfare vendors, etc. Maintains retiree addresses and deaths through interface with Health and Welfare vendor. Assist in maintaining data integrity in the PeopleSoft database by running queries and analyzing data. Be responsible for maintaining the distributed check software application, signature card, help-desk support to Client plant coordinators, etc. Provides support to corporate payroll staff as needed. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and works as a team member of the HRIS department to ensure overall production support to the user community both in Hartsville and other client plants. Must have good organization and customer service skills. Attention to details and strong analytical skills are required. Have the ability to multi-task and problem solve with limited supervision in a fast paced environment. Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete integrity.
