Role: HRIS Manager
Location: Akron,OH
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Manage all aspects of Kronos HRMS including Human Resources, Payroll, Workforce Talent Acquisition and Timekeeping
Generate training materials, Standard Operating Procedures & Policies related to all transactions executed within HRIS. Train Field HR as necessary on HRIS via webinars. Assist HR Directors in ensuring all HR Personnel are trained in Kronos
Troubleshoots issues/problems with Kronos HR/PR and Kronos Time and Attendance systems.
System maintenance- assists in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system upgrades. Coordinate application of system fixes.
Production support- provide support for HRIS including, but not limited to researching and resolving unexpected results or flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend methods to meet requirements
Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll). Use project management skills in managing projects. May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative.
Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HRMS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques.
Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.

Directly supervises employees in the HRIS Department.
Desired Skills and Experience
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors Degree in Business or MIS
Previous 3-5 years experience as a HRIS administrator
1-2 years of project management experience
Skills and Abilities (i.e. Language Skills, Reasoning Ability, Computer Skills)
Systems implementation experience
Strong understanding of HR processes and data
Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with databases tools
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Experience with an HRMS such as PeopleSoft, Kronos, Lawson or ADP EV2Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees
Experience writing policies & procedures.
Experience Conducting /Facilitating Training
Ability to communicate with various levels of management.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
