Responsibilities

  • Understand big picture marketing strategy and develop key SEO deliverables and goals to align
  • Perform in depth keyword research and competitive analysis to identify organic search opportunities for all service areas and industry verticals
  • Develop keyword strategy to implement on-page and link building strategy to execute off-page
  • Identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
  • Use analytics tools to track and measure organic and PPC performance, while consistently testing and tweaking to improve
  • Collaborate with marketing team on SEO best practices for content creation and social marketing efforts
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
  • Consistently perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Manage organic and paid campaign expenses, staying on budget, estimating monthly costs and reconciling discrepancies.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
  • Regularly develop progress reports to present/share with team and management
Qualifications

Bachelors degree

  • 5+ years of proven SEO experience, with at least 3 years in a professional environment/setting
  • Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends, Statcounter)
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
  • Experience with 3rd party optimization tools (e.g., MOZ, Majestic, SEMRush)
  • Experience with A/B testing and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
  • Google AdWords Certification and/or Bing Ads Accreditation Recommended
