ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform thorough, detailed website analysis, identifying current problems and opportunities, with a focus on crawlability, site architecture and site content
  • Creation of highly refined keyword strategies that lay the foundation for a clients SEO project
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Work with the UX & development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code ‚Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with UX & SEO strategy teams.
  • Plan, schedule and track project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools ·
  • Work within TFS & Jira systems in order to leverage reporting, requirements management, analyzing test results, and project management to drive SEO efforts
  • Improve communication between stakeholders by promptly clarifying questions/concerns between departments
  • Develop and deliver SEO progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations
  • Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful SEO project elements
  • Innovate and contribute to the evolution of SEO; always use best practices and seek ways to leverage our technology to meet business and IT strategic goals SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE· Proven SEO experience
  • In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Optimizly, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • In-depth experience using web crawler & SEO/SEM tools (e.g. DeepCrawl. Botify, SEMrush)
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and current industry practices, news and algorithm updates
  • Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Experience with bid management tools (e.g., HasOffers, Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Working knowledge of TFS, Jira, All Microsoft Products, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Flexible during times of change

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Customer service skills an asset EDUCATION: BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test-driven field
