Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on modeling/advanced analytics retrieving, compiling, and analyzing large volumes of data from disparate databases into distilled, actionable information needed by the SEO team to develop and implement search strategy.
  • Demonstrate analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and document content relationships to identify gaps and duplication via web analytics.
  • Leverage an in-depth understanding of our buyerâ??s journey to develop and optimize SEO traffic.
  • Measure the success of online marketing efforts, specifically in regard to search marketing campaigns, by analyzing data in Excel/Power Point and communicating recommendations throughout the organization.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis on event geography, category, seasonality, and customer behavior to influence SEO strategy.
  • Provide insights on content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw audienceâ??s attention across online marketing. (ie. search, social, blogging)
  • Utilize analytics and other tools to track the effectiveness of web content for search engine optimization and user engagement.
  • Proactive to learn and stay up today on SEO industry to provide insight to the SEO team and help developed a SEO corporate culture across department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, information science, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning
  • Experience in content for the web and organic search audience
  • Experience with analytics (Google Analytics), rank monitoring, and database tools, including the leading SEO software tools.
  • Qualification in statistics, economics, accounting, math, engineering, market research or other data-driven field.
  • Some knowledge with technical aspects of search engines.
  • Familiarity with Google Search Console tools.
  • Some experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Power Point /Google Sheets and WordPress experience
  • Must be self-directed and effective working independently, yet equally comfortable contributing in a team environment.
  • Strong problem solving and issue resolution skills
  • Outstanding communication, attention to detail, organizational skills and time-management skills
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales.
