Job description

  • Client is seeking an experienced Search Marketing Manager to drive continued growth and category leadership in organic and paid search.
  • This position will report to the Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and will be responsible for playing a key role in continually raising awareness of Clients product in the search space.
  • This position will be charged with day to day management and execution of organic and paid search marketing strategies and programs including onsite optimization, audit initiatives, cross functional collaboration analysis and search reporting for client.
  • The Search Marketing Manager will work to improve natural search rankings and referral traffic from organic search engines.
  • Execute new online search program roll outs, management and optimization
  • Develop quality keyword portfolio
  • Lead all Search Engine Optimization (SEO) initiatives including but not limited to website optimization, analysis, link building, and reporting.
  • Maintain and update ad copy and landing pages.
  • Develop strategy and execute hands-on work and roll-outs required for Google Adwords, Google analytics and other Pay Per Click (PPC) ad sites, that drive proven, measurable results.
  • Continually drive qualified visitors to our website by identifying areas of improvement in our online presence and creating strategies for growth/optimization.
  • Create useful, engaging, and relevant web page copy while also targeting specific keywords for improved search engine rankings.
  • Perform in-depth keyword research according to business objectives, as needed for inclusion in SEO and PPC strategies.
  • Develop strategies for first page rankings through onsite optimization related to page titles, URLs, redirects, internal link structures, SEO copy editing, sitemap robots maintenance, and keyword research.
  • Ensure return on ad spend by managing end to end process in executing creative testing strategies in keywords and landing page development to drive brand-right creative while maximizing response rates
  • Lead the selection and implementation of insights and best practices from working with partnerships at Google and Yahoo, to drive search results
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university in a business-related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct experience with SEM (Search Engine Marketing) & SEO.
  • Ability to adhere to a strict budget for advertising spend.
  • Problem solver who can identify potential issues proactively and think creatively to resolve them.
  • Analytical thinker who is able to perform research, interpret data, and effectively communicate findings for the purpose of making business decisions.
  • Solid understanding of Analytics and Google Search Console.
  • Deep understanding with ad management interfaces including Google Adwords, Bing Ads, and Yahoo Gemini.
  • Google Adwords certification preferred.
  • Google Analytics certification a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML a plus.
  • Proven track record of organic success by applying search optimization principles
  • Knowledge and work experience with SEO tools, such as, DeepCrawl, MajesticSEO, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Conductor, BrightEdge, Moz, Kenshoo, Marin, etc.
  • Experience with analytics software such as Omniture and/or Google Analytics required
