  • The Director, Human Resources will work to ensure that Company provides the best possible service to its employees and its business units.
  • This position will play a mid-level role and be responsible for managing and training multiple business units\' human resources staff, maintaining legal compliance, identifying and assisting in solving potential legal issues, increasing efficiencies in business processes, and, most importantly, treating employees with dignity and respect in handling employee relations and discipline issues.
  • The position should have extensive knowledge regarding leaves of absence and be an experienced employment investigator.
  • An ideal candidate will have excellent business instincts and an innate ability determine when to be flexible and when to be rigid.
  • BA/BS degree in business, communication, psychology industrial relations or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years human resources experience. Minimum 5 years supervisory/management experience in HR functions required. Supplementary designations (PHR, SPHR) related to the human resource field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to align people strategy to driving the business.
  • Proven ability to develop relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization, exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and design, implement, and lead change management initiatives.
  • Provide senior management with analytical information and insights (e.g., employee metrics, survey information) to facilitate holistic business decisions and guide business leaders\' actions.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution around sensitive issues.
  • Strong and creative problem solving skills are a must.
  • Ability to work collaboratively building teams across business groups and functions.
  • Agile, flexible and comfortable working in a change intensive environment.
  • Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision making skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Willingness to learn, grow and assume expanded duties as business needs evolve.
  • Ability to work both tactically and strategically to ensure business needs are met.
