Assist the Human Resources Manager with maintaining and improving all aspects of human resources in the Upholstery area by providing human resources services to operations management and employees. Promote effective employee relations, oversees safety process, recruits employees, and participates in wage evaluation process. Maintain Human Resource measurements to demonstrate a continuous improvement in the value of the employees. Essential Functions: Assist Plant Managers and supervisors in improving employee relations by communicating changes, assisting with difficult discussions and supporting supervisors with counseling when necessary. Maintain and analyze measurements pertaining to all employees and supervisors working within their area of responsibility. Measurements include: turnover, hiring, attendance, training, and safety. Analyze and take action to continuously improve measurements. Assist in overseeing the process of semi-annual employee performance reviews. Ensures reviews are fair and all information is appropriate. Develop, coordinate, and participate in employee recognition events and activities. Develop, deliver, and coordinate training as directed by HR Manager. Participates in functional areas departmental team meetings and assists in presenting training to employees and supervisors. Participate in the hiring process including hiring and job placement as directed.
