Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the Human Resource function for two plants and one distribution center located in Monroe & Platteville Wisconsin (180+ employees)
  • Counsel and guide management on developing the skills to effectively manage their teams Facilitate collaborative problem solving and participate in staff meetings providing HR insight on business issues Drive and execute performance management and salary planning processes Participate on Emmi Operational Excellence steering committee promoting a culture of continuous improvement & employee engagement throughout the facilities Foster strong employee relations Educate management team on compensation practices Develop & execute talent acquisition and retention strategies; manage staffing agency relationships Implement professional and organizational development activities Ensure compliance with all federal and state laws Adhere to ERU food safety policies and all government food safety and sanitation regulations (ex. FDA, HACCP, GMP, OSHA) Assist in other various activities or projects to achieve department & company goalsRequired Qualifications Bachelors degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or related field Five plus years of progressive HR experience; prior HR management experience preferred Excellent communication and organizational skills Broad knowledge of all HR practice areas and employment law Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with local management team Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and HR systems Regular travel between facilities required (60 mile radius) Ability to work in a fast paced environment Ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure Ability to work in cross-functional teams
