ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS - Build and maintain relationship with hourly workforce.
- Position will consist of at least 10 hours per week on production floor.
- Assist supervisors and managers on hiring needs and knowledge of policies for hourly workforce.Manages third-party staffing vendors.
- Develops production, maintenance, support recruitment and placement staffing strategies including the writing of ads and job postings. Manage job bidding process.
- Conducts interviews for hourly applicants consistent with current laws and regulations.Conduct pre-employment screening, offer letters and orientation of new hires.
- Coordinate with all departments of new employees position and date of hire.Work with production manager/supervisors of current positions needed.
- Communicate benefits information, answer benefits questions, and conduct enrollment meetings.
- Designs and runs reports as necessary.Keeps abreast of changes in labor law and Human Resources related issues through professional reading, seminars and active participation in professional organizations.
- Work flex hours weeklyADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESSchedules and administers job related tests as needed.Serves as facilitator for New Employee Orientation.
- Interpret policies and procedures as needed.Assumes high level of confidentiality.
- Responsible for correct and timely completion of all I-9 forms.Assists other Human Resources functions as requested.Organizes duties and works independently and makes decisions as directed.

- Must have a thorough knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and Americans with Disabilities Act.
- Demonstrated ability to select, and train personnel for hourly workforce.Participatory management style to advocate a team concept.Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Resourceful and well organized.Good reasoning abilities; sound judgment used to balance other business consideration.Well developed administrative and management skills principles and people.
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCECollege degree preferred in Human Resources or related fieldMinimum of three (3) years of Human Resources experience.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training environment that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.Bi-lingual communication ability preferred.
