QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Bachelors Degree with emphasis in human resources, computer information science, business or related field and two years related experience in ERP Systems; OR 6 years of Business Analyst or Project Management experience in Human Resources or Payroll Information Systems management. The ability to identify and lead projects related to the design, management, enhancement, and implementation of HRIS is required, as is the ability to interpret and incorporate HR policies, procedures, practices into HRIS and translate HR requirements and write specifications to communicate needs to information technology personnel. The ability to analyze system capability and data integrity. The ability to create customized and accurate reports and data analysis. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work. Expert use of Excel (or equivalent) for reporting and analytics. Demonstrated skill in making presentations to top level management and good working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for making presentations is required. Demonstrated experience handling sensitive employee data (data privacy) and confidential materials. Strong understanding of and experience with IT infrastructures, processes and projects is desired. Desired: Masters Degree in Business or Information Services. Project Management Certification or completion of a Project Management training program. Good working knowledge of PeopleSoft and Kronos. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Project Coordination: The Team Lead will be responsible for providing project coordination to select projects. This may include work plan development, coordination of resources and overall performance reporting for assigned projects. Apply standard project management methodologies for project lifecycle of analysis, design, development and implementation. Participate in analyst activities as needed such as requirements gathering, solution definition, design, system testing, training plans and rollout strategies. Establish and execute effective and efficient communication mechanisms which enable continuous exchange of project status, ideas and information, project developments among team members, project sponsors and vendor partners. Operations Coordination: Assist the HRMS Manager with planning and organizing the operations and activities related to HR systems and data requests. Work with HR Managers to identify and implement process improvements, system enhancements, and alternatives based on specific needs as defined by current versus future HR practices. Provides consistent interpretation/application of HR policies and procedures across the organization for implementation of the HRIS. Works with IT personnel to develop work plans for system upgrades, functionalities, and enhancements. Manages the HRMS service request queue for IT related issues. Motivate groups of users to adopt systems and process changes implemented during projects. Communicate effectively with managers and employees throughout the organization.
