  • Administer the HR Segment, production and test instances This includes current version of People Soft 9.2 and People Tools 8.55 Research and recommend upcoming moves to future software/ tools versions Document current technical configurations and design.
  • Take the lead on troubleshooting Issues and identifying root causes Apply Tax Updates Apply People Tools upgrades and patches Manage People Soft Update Manager (apply fixes and new functionality as required by the business)Participate in team scrum meetings for status updates, priority and information exchange Create, manage and resolve technical service requests logged with Oracle Support The Developer Responsibilities For This Position Develop solutions for the HR segment to include enhancements, perform troubleshooting, propose and deliver fixes, create online and batch solutions to our existing People Soft application.
  • Working with business users to refine technical solutions based upon functional requirements and business inputs.Technology Used People Soft HCM SQL Server Peoplem Tools, People Code, Integration Broker, Application Designer, SQR Windows Server Administration Essential Functions Of The Role Systems Administration with People Soft Development What are we looking for? Administration Skills : Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SQL database queries, Windows Server/Desktop Administration experience are core requirements. ERP administration and software development is considered a plus.
Technical Skills :

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with SQL database queries, and experience using Excel COM or knowledge of Object Oriented languages (i.e. VB, C, C#, etc).
Abilities :

  • Excellent problem solving skills; ability to multi-task; excellent organizational skills; self-directed and results oriented. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of basic software administration areas, such as: system refreshes, patch application, version control, cache management, general technical solution architecture, and debugging is required.
