Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years’ experience with PeopleSoft developer roles
  • 2 years’ experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 FSCM applications
  • 1 PeopleSoft version 9.2 implementation or upgrade project deployed
  • 8 years combined experience with PeopleCode and Application Engine
  • 5 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Application Package
  • 8 years’ experience with Application Designer development
  • 6 months experience with Application Designer on PeopleTools 8.55 or higher
  • 5 years’ experience with PeopleSoft Data Mover scripts
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days per week (Monday through Friday)

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience in full lifecycle upgrades/implementations of PeopleSoft 9.2 in a higher education or public sector (i.e., Federal, State, County, City, Municipality) environment
  • Experience with PeopleTools 8.56
  • Experience with Fluid User Interface / Branding
  • Experience with Pivot Grids
  • Experience migrating using PHIRE
  • Experience with Fluid Development
  • Experience with any, some, or all of the following tools/technologies: nVision, ExcelToCl, Integration Broker, REST web services, PeopleSoft Work Centers and Navigation Collections, Approval Framework Workflow, BI Publisher, PeopleSoft Query, PeopleSoft EPM and Oracle OBIEE, PeopleSoft Test Framework (PTF)
  • Experience developing systems that are compliant with Accessibility Standards (i.e., WCAG 2.0)

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review functional specification requirements, design, and business processes to ensure alignment with information technology and business strategies.
  • Complete and update technical specification documentation per standards.
  • Develop Financial Management Solutions (FMS) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, update and create modifications to PeopleSoft 9.2, and deploy modified code objects.
  • Accurately prepare modifications for migration through development, system test and production environments using migration tools (e.g. Phire).
  • Develop pages leveraging FLUID and Classic+ design elements.
  • Guide PeopleSoft 9.2 development decisions as they relate to the business processes.
  • Perform code and design reviews for other development team members.
  • Manage respective PeopleSoft development to deployment including driving all related project tasks, objectives and milestones.
  • Provide project estimates for changes in business process and/or additional new functionality.
  • Track, escalate and document project risks, issues, decisions, and changes to development scope.
  • Provide input and research into project recommendations and decisions.
  • Work with software vendor to submit defects in delivered functionality.
  • Create, document and track issues and resolution.
  • Provide input and review of complex system modifications.
  • Design, develop and test code and provide unit test scripts.
  • Evaluate/implement technical solutions related to the integration of PeopleSoft with external systems such as web applications.
  • Generate and execute accurate and efficient SQL statements utilizing explain plans.
  • Verify technical solutions are well documented and maintainable.
  • Optimize application performance using tools to analyze and optimize code.
  • Discuss and explain technical implementations to project staff, business users or management, either verbally or in writing.
  • Perform technical research on defect reports and enhancement requests to determine the true nature of the work required.
  • Provide support for business and/or systems analysts during retrofit development.
  • Setup, configure, or mine for test data to enable customer testing.
  • Report status to Project Management Office (PMO) team.
  • Conduct and execute code reviews.
