Primary Function:
- The Senior HR Business Systems Analyst provides PeopleSoft HR systems support through technical and analytical responsibilities to include maintaining accurate, current and legally compliant information in the HR Systems; configuring and testing system changes; working with end-users to provide functional and technical assistance; provide system integration expertise and report writing.
Essential functions:- Collaborates with functional areas to identify system applications that support or enhance business needs in a cost-effective manner.
- Defines information and technology needs as they relate to strategic company initiatives.
- Coordinates the research, selection and planned implementation process for new applications and programming projects.
- Ensures that system design is consistent with end-user requirements, organizational objectives, and Enterprise Information Management (EIM) technology.
- Provides technical and analytical support in the utilization and integration of systems in assigned business unit.
- Conducts pre- and post- system testing in conjunction with modifications and implementations.
- Evaluates business process data to determine potential areas for improvement.
- Functions as a liaison with software vendors during the design, acquisition, implementation, and integration of new or modified systems.
- Oversees project progress and prepares project status reports which include changes that affect scheduling, timelines or resource levels.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- Required Bachelors degree in information systems, business management or related field.
- Five (5+) years' experience PeopleSoft system experience.
- Three (3+) years’ experience in information systems related to assigned line of business.
- Three (3+) years’ experience with data integration and migration tools.
