Budget $: 100,000 - 200,000

  • Directly responsible for management of four (4) development managers working with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Portal, HCM and FSCM.Leader for the HR, Finance, Student, and Portal teams and also responsible for operational and strategic decision making for the Application Development teams.
  • Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to continuously improve the software development lifecycle for UIS.
  • Directly responsible for management of Phire, the University\'s change control system, within the development teams.Manage the SDLC process for overall Application Development group.
  • Ensure development metrics for services are standardized and kept up to date, reporting to the Director on a monthly basis.
  • Oversee development projects for Portal, HR, Finance, and Student by staying on time and within budget, reporting the project status weekly.
  • This position will have some budget authority to ensure the development teams are properly supported against performance and project goals.
  • Responsible for planning and supporting annual PeopleTools upgrades and Environment delivery.
  • Expected to add input into strategy discussions for UIS, such as an HR/FIN move to a SaaS-based solution vs. on premise upgrades.
  • Attend customer leadership meetings within the Denver office and at the campus sites, offering up UIS viewpoints and collaborative solutionsStaff Development & Management:Weekly/Bi-weekly meetings with staff to distribute information, schedule work, discuss issues.
  • General management including budget requests, hiring, coaching, performance management, terminations, etc.
  • Ensure PeopleSoft Development staff are cross-trained and continuously improvingIdentify technical and functional strengths in individual group members such as Integration Broker, workflow, AppnEngine, SQR, COBOL, etc.
