6 Experience participating in large complex highavailability PeopleSoft Financials implementation projects

6 Experience performing PeopleSoft System Test,Integration Test, and User Acceptance Test

6 Experience conducting design sessions with subjectmatter experts and business process owners to meet business requirements withminimal customizations.

4 Experience implementing PeopleSoft Purchasing version9.0 or higher, including gathering business requirements, conducting anddocumenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration.

4 Experience as a PeopleSoft functional module lead forlarge PeopleSoft implementation.

4 Experience in IT project planning, research, analysisand development

4 Experience writing and reviewing detailed test scriptsfor System, Integration, and User Acceptance Test Phases.

2 Experience designing, configuring, and testingPeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE) workflow approvals, version 9.1 orhigher.

2 Experience implementing PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcingversion 9.0 or higher.

2 Experience gathering business requirements, conductingand documenting fit/gap sessions, and system configuration for PeopleSoftStrategic Sourcing module.

The Texas Health and Human Services (HHS) Enterprise iscomposed of the following two agencies:

Department of State Health Services (DSHS) Health andHuman Services Commission (HHSC)

 

The HHSC Enterprise Applications IT area recentlyimplemented PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2 and a downstream applicationcalled System of Contract Operation and Reporting (SCOR) and is posting thisposition for a Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Contract Management modulesLead.

 

Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) Enterprise ITApplications is getting ready to make enhancements to CAPPS Financials 9.2 andSCOR to automate new business processes to augment functionality in compliancewith SB 20 and SB 200 and to meet the HHSC Procurement and Contracting Services(PCS) business needs.

 

This posting is specific for the Strategic Sourcing (SS)module lead for the enhancement project.

 

The Strategic Sourcing module lead will be responsiblefor assisting HHS with Functional Design, Configuration, Build, Test andDeployment of the enhancements through go-live. The worker must have extensiveknowledge of what is required to perform a PeopleSoft reimplementation for theStrategic Sourcing module. This position requires multi-tasking, exercisinginitiative and independent judgment.

 

Duties for this position will include:

 

 Responsible forworking with the functional and technical teams, DBAs and business users onsystem requirement gathering, analysis, design and implementation of 9.2functionality;

 Responsible foridentification, documentation, and reporting of identified project risks toproject management;

Participates in and leads meetings between stakeholders,resources and project leadership to ensure the Strategic Sourcing solution isaligned with the overall CAPPS 9.2 enhancement project goals and direction;

 Conducts anddocuments Joint Application Design/Conference Room Pilot requirement sessionswith management, staff and consultants.

 Responsible forconsistent utilization of standardized processes and forms to manage projectdocumentation, including but not limited to, Functional Design Documents, KeyDesign Decisions, Change Controls, Risk Registers, Scope Documentation, WorkPackages, Business Process Flows and other project documents as needed;

Works with the training department to ensure accuratedesign of (UPK) training delivery materials before they are presented;

Responsible for conducting Strategic Sourcing moduleFit/Gap analysis and accurately documenting in the Requirements TraceabilityMatrix;

Configures Strategic Sourcing module to meet HHSC’sbusiness requirements.

Works with SME/Business Owners and Project Team toprovide input to project management, functional lead and others in thedevelopment of the detailed Project Schedule;

Works with SME/Business owners to bridge currently manualbusiness processes to PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing 9.2 functionality.

Works with SME/business owners and project team tominimize modification of PeopleSoft Strategic Sourcing 9.2
