Role: HRIS & Compensation Manager
Location: Arlington,VAHris
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the HRIS system including, but not limited to, testing and implementation, researching and resolving HRIS problems, performing scheduled activities, handling unexpected process flaws, and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements of organization HRIS needs.
  • Design, track and monitor appropriate metrics and related statistics in order to develop effective analytical tools that drive decision making.
  • Effectively manage workforce analytics by writing and maintaining a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
  • Reports include, but not limited to: EEO, benefits eligibility/administration/data changes/system audit, and ad-hoc customer requests.Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • Supervise and provide direction to subordinate staff engaged in developing reports, analytical deliverables, and data entry.
Compensation Responsibilities
  • Perform job analysis, position evaluation, and market pricing to ensure consistency in internal titling, job descriptions and salary recommendations.
  • Ensure new and existing positions are FLSA compliant.
  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure the achievement of equitable and competitive staff compensation, and assist in managing salary changes, promotions, bonus, and performance management process.
  • Lead in the development of position control and job mapping processes, and oversee implementation and maintenance.Keep apprised of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations in order to ensure compliance.
