Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of project engineer on projects in all phasesPrepare project specifications and design drawings
• Analyze existing and proposed infrastructureUnderstand grading, drainage and erosion control, water and sanitary sewer distribution systems and roadway designPrepare opinions of probable cost
• Coordinating internally with design and CAD technicians to ensure timely and accurate document and drawing preparationAssist in developing budgets/schedules
• Demonstrate theoretic/practical civil engineering knowledge

• Prefer 5+ years CAD experience on civil engineering projects.
• Possession and maintenance of a valid Driver License.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required (2011 â?? 2016).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Good communications skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Knowledge of the principles, practices and instruments used in draftingKnowledge of civil engineering principles and practices and construction specifications, plans.
• Civil Engineering, utility, and roadway design work experience.
• Microstation is a plusKnowledge of ARC GIS, HEC-RAS, Hydraulic modeling software is a plus
• BS in Civil Engineering5+ years experienceAuto Cadd civil 3D

• Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering4-7 years minimum experience within the Civil engineering field
• Certifications/LicensesEIT required, P.E. licensure in the State of Colorado is preferred
