Job Description

  • The overall purpose of this position is to maximize revenue via OTA channels of Distribution through maintenance of partner extranets.
  • This is accomplished through ongoing training and communication between key online Tour Operator partners and hotels.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Ensure hotel data and pricing and price parity by auditing partner extranets.
  • Master complete understanding of designated partner extranet in order to work with Distribution team to devise a strategy that exploits each channel in order to maximize revenue.
  • Analyze, extract and compile reports, partner specifics.
  • Act as liaison between key online partners corporate office and hotels as needed.
  • Works with each partner to ensure source of origin of each booking.
  • Develops, manages and builds rapport with channel manager partners; HBSi, Omnibees and Vertical Booking, 3 rd Party businesses and hotels.
  • Document challenges and information learned on each partner extranet to develop best practices.
  • Evaluate extranet user requirements and solutions.
  • Provide training and support to hotels to update individual partner extranets as needed.
  • Maintains minimum work standards by setting goals in quality assurance and operational problems by identifying work process improvements.
  • Monitor key performance indicators from promotions and corporate initiatives by partner.
  • Primary point of contact of hotels to answer routine questions regarding the partner extranets.
  • Provide executive summary updates related to partner activity as needed and requested.
  • Provide support and training to the teams at the resorts, the corporate trainers and other members of the Distribution team to ensure there is a complete understanding of how each extranet interacts with our channel management providers.
  • Both virtual and in-person.
  • Support the Distribution Management team in other projects as assigned and needed.
  • Track correspondence.Responsible to maintain resource guide in conjunction with the Training Team for hotel use of partner extranets.
  • Troubleshoot issues that may arise through day to day operations and resolve, through Channel Managers and/or partner extranets.
  • Monitors the effect of how Global Distribution partners with a B2B model are impacting business in other channels, report back as needed
