Job Description
Opportunity
- Technologies is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant.
- As a representative of Technologies, it is expected that work will be accomplished in a professional, courteous and ethical manner. Work is performed in an open team environment.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Respond to system messages regarding move outs and expedites
- Advise team of price decreases and increases
- Advise team of part delivery issues
- Work to maintain or reduce costs
- Work to keep our inventory exposure at a minimum
- Place PO a??s for MRO and miscellaneous items
- Update part attributes in Oracle as required
Required
- Qualifications and Competencies:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Organized, self motivated team player, able to work well under pressure
- Good administrative skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel
Preferred
- Minimum 2 years purchasing experience
- Lean Supply Chain experience beneficial
- ERP system experience within a Supply Chain environment
