Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in managing multiple tasks with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Must be able not only collect data and information, but also to analyze, identify and escalate risks, clearly summarize status and key issues as well as recommend next steps
  • Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills required
  • Project software experience is a must
  • Ability to prepare business cases with ROI and TCO calculations
  • Ability to build should cost models
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire people to action through his/her influence

Responsibilities

  • Clients Global Logistics Team team is responsible for developing logistics strategies, contract management, logistics planning, New product introductions and continuous improvement activities with carriers and internal stakeholders
  • The Supply Chain Manager role requires effective communication at all levels both with internal and external teams, tracking and reporting of performance to goal, developing systems and teams to manage quality, delivery, cost savings, and on-the-spot critical decision making
  • This is truly a cross-functional role that will work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Finance groups on priorities across Clientâ??s business sectors and the successful candidate will be expected to drive successful, on time project delivery, operate as a self-starter, and take ownership of all areas impacting part quality
  • Support the Global Logistics Procurement teams in the launch and approval processes and logistics solutions for new supply chain designs and new factories
  • Concept to completion - ownership of projects
  • Work collaboratively with all engineering stakeholders through the various stages of the project: Sourcing, APQP, Testing, and delivery at volume production
  • Ensure compliance with all projectâ??s governing documents including Power Purchase Agreements, O&M Agreements, Interconnection Agreements, land leases, etc
  • Review reoccurring reports on project performance as needed per contractual obligations and drive the closure of open cases / inquiries across the portfolio
  • Drive vendor partnership working closely with supply chain and logistics purchasing team and ensure alignment on engineering requirements, scope, schedule and cost
  • Drive requirements and solutions with all internal stakeholders such as Purchasing, Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams for the success of the project
  • Support analysis teams with problem solving, tracking of open issues, and timely disposition of all defective materials
  • Prepare business cases, presentations and GANTT charts for regular tracking with stakeholders to ensure projects are on track and bottlenecks are being highlighted at regular intervals
  • Participate as requested in other project / program activities to support Clients growth and supply chain strategy
