Location: WASHINGTON,DC
Use Apex and VisualForce to create unique customer-based solutions
Be a thought leader in requirement implementation and feedback
Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment
Solve problems independently and resolve ambiguity
Develop integration processes using Salesforce.com’s Web Services API and third-party integration tools (Apex Data Loader, Informatica, etc)
Contribute to the overall configuration, design and layout of the solution architecture
Leverage roles, hierarchies, and profiles to keep data secure
Must Haves:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Related Major
2+ years of professional experience administering/developing on the Force.com platform (Enterprise edition or higher)
3+ years of engineering or programming work experience
Experience with Salesforce.com Sites, Web Services and Metadata API, Adobe Flash Builder for Force.com and the Eclipse IDEProven track record developing and supporting functionality built with Salesforce.com proprietary technologies: VisualForce and Apex code
Demonstrated knowledge of object-oriented methodologies and approaches
Demonstrated knowledge of relational databases , data modeling, database concepts and data management
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
Even Better:
Master’s degree
Experience with ETL tools
Ability to translate technical specifications into customer/business requirements
Proficiency in HTML/XHTML, XML, Javascript, AJAX, SQL, Java, PHP, SOAP-based web services, Apex, and SOQL
Proven knowledge of XML, experience using server-to-server web services (SOAP)
Proven experience with AJAX web application development and proven knowledge of browser compatibility issues
Proven programming abilities in one or more of the following languages: Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, .NET, JavaScript or Perl

Experience troubleshooting and finding multiple solutions to a complex problem
Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
Experience working within both a team environment and independently
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to synthesize and interpret technical data
Salesforce.com DEV401 Certification; ADM201 and DEV501
