Job Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the HR Technology functionality and set-up, HR reporting and analysis, as well as preparation of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Leads the implementation of HR system modules, securities, functionality, and interfaces.
  • Performs data entry and quality review to ensure data submissions are accurate and align with system/structure of organization.
  • Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data to produce accurate and timely payroll.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
  • Manages general ledger setup and export.
  • Performs various journal entries, account reconciliations, and provides general ledger support.
  • Functional support for financial audits, 401(k) audits, and workers compensation audits.
  • Serves as departments subject matter expert and HRIS administrator applications.
  • Key member of project teams to integrate new system operations into current system model(s), evaluates new technology tools/functionality, and develops and revises HRIS technology strategy.
  • Performs data entry, creates data import and export templates as needed, and monitors data integrity through various audits.
  • Explores employee self-service functionality as a solution to improve operating efficiencies.
  • Manages report and analytic functions to standardize reporting tools to accurately report data in clear formats to meet customer requirements.
  • Collaborates with other departments to proactively identify needs for enhancements/modifications, documents business requirements, creates project plans for the implementation of enhancements and solutions, and supports modifications through testing and go live.Serves as a change agent to assist in promoting new designs within the HRIS.
  • Interfaces directly with service providers/internal support staff on specification development and validation of custom reports and metrics, trending reports, and transaction specific reports from a variety of platforms.
  • Performs other work-related duties such as System Release and Patch Management, Testing, Enhancement Requests, third party integrations (bi-directional), Workflow Management, Security, Mobile Apps, overall System Governance and project strategy.
  • Stays current on HR Technology trends and related topics by reading literature, attending relevant training classes, attending professional meetings, etc.
  • Minimal travel may be required (up to 25%).
Job Qualifications and Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, IT or related field required.
  • 5 to 10 years of HRIS and payroll processing experience required.
  • Expert level Ultimate Software user with implementation experience required.
  • Proven experience in creating technical solutions.
  • Proven experience in project management and risk management.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Lotus Notes.
