Hyperion Developer
Location: Miami, FL

Our client in Miami, FL, is looking for a Hyperion Developer. The HFM Administrator / Hyperion Developer provides application and system specialized expertise, usually as a member of a project team, in the analysis, design and development of business solutions via the various Hyperion tools, with primary emphasis on HFM. Duties:

Develop, design, analyze and implement new applications and solutions using Hyperion System 9, or higher, including: Hyperion Financial Management, Financial Data Management, Data Relationship Management, Financial Reporting Studio, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Smart View
Develop, monitor and maintain security, management process controls, task flows, business rules, scripts, member lists, journal module, objects (Webforms, Grids, Tasklists etc), consolidation and data clearing procedures, metadata updates
Recommend and implement enhancements to current HFM and other Hyperion applications to improve application performance and user experience

Requirements: Qualifications:

A minimum of 4 (four) years in HFM application development, administration and support required
Experience in application development and support using any of the other Hyperion products (Essbase / Planning / HFM / FDM / DRM / Financial Reports) required
A Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or related discipline; or 8 (eight) years related work experience and technical training required
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills, including but not limited to working with nested functions, pivot tables and VBA
Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers and customers
Strong process and financial background, as well as analytical and problem solving skills
Advanced organizational skills including documenting business cases, resolution tracking and issue escalation, when applicable
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadline changes
Ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
Skilled in installations, upgrades, configuration, back-up/recovery procedures in client and server environments preferred
Hyperion knowledge of optimizations, load-balancing, multiple OS experience, and virtual Environments
