Role: Hyperion Administrator
Location: Portland, OR
Job Duties:
Backup the Financial reporting team running the monthly close (cross-training to be provided) reporting and development
Troubleshoot Essbase/SmartView issues and coordinate issue resolution with development and, infrastructure using documented procedures
Ensure business-as-usual operation of the production environment on a daily basis, escalating issues to management and service desk when necessary
Create and run MaxL scripts as needed to move data within the Essbase Environment
Hyperion user administration
Expert in Hyperion application administration, including HFM, FDMEE, Hyperion Planning, DRM/DRG
Provide system development and improvements to streamline, standardize and automate reporting processes; take ownership of maintaining and managing applications and processes once set in place
Assists in providing Hyperion support and impromptu training for Hyperion users
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelorsâ?? degree required, preferable in accounting, IT or related field
Must have 3+ yearsâ?? experience with Hyperion Financial Management
Must have 2+ yearsâ?? experience working with ERP systems, preferably Oracle EBS
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including data reconciliations required
Experience understanding, designing and managing master data hierarchies and members required
Experience implementing and supporting each of the following areas preferred: Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE), Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM), Hyperion Financial Reporting, Hyperion Smart View
Knowledge of the financial budgeting and forecasting processes, including allocations and driver-based calculations preferred
Knowledge of financial consolidations and the ability to create both financial statements and management reporting for public and private companies preferred
