Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with data warehouse team to build Essbase cubes and EPMA enabled applicationsCollaborate with project stakeholders and end users to outline and identify design models and goalsEmploy knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security and other interface toolsDevelop, implement and maintain new cubes and process flows.
• Develop solutions to leverage Hyperion Planning and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in user sessions for requirement and testing.
• Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently.
• Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing.
• Create and maintain system documentation.Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work.
• Understands dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of Hyperion Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables and Ess base databases.
• ASO and BSO Ess base application development/configuration/support and tuning -- Outlines, dimensions, measures, members, metadata administration with ability to design databases and complex calculations.
• Knowledge of DRM for data integration including mapping rules and scripts with DRM Design and develop Hyperion Planning applications based on business requirements Works with Data ware house team on data analytics to include, modeling, creating views , validation, creating queries and views and improving on data quality
• Works with the infrastructure and reporting teams to influence decisions to meet evolving reporting and analytical needs Designs and develops Dashboards in OBIEE.
• Create new reports and modifying existing reports using industry standards and best practice

• Environment 3 to 5years of experience working with Ess base, Planning, HFM, OBIEE and DRM At least 3 to 5 years of business intelligence and reporting experience 3 to 5 years' experience in Hyperion with a strong understanding of best practices of dashboards and visualization Strong SQL development .
  
• skills to include, writing complex queries, views and stored procedures Experience working in a fast paced , dynamic and agile development life cycle Strong analytical skills .
• comfortable working with Data warehouse and experience with ETL processes 1 to 3 years of experience designing and developing SSAS cubes OBIEE Dashboard
• Experience a Plus But Not Required Experience in documenting design specification and other related documents
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational and analytical skills Working knowledge of Microsoft TFS
