Hyperion Essbase Developer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support for all Oracle Essbase existing systems, including dimension maintenance, confirmation of data integrity throughout the Essbase environment, organization structure maintenance, programming changes to allocation scripts, and internal management reporting.
Act as project manager for the development of a new Essbase structure, combining the financial reporting for the consolidated company, mainly the conversion of legacy onto an Essbase environment.
Provide support for the financial systems user group, including user training, reporting design changes, structure changes and maintenance, and data drill down assistance.
Act as the primary liaison between the corporate controllers group and information technology on all aspects of consolidated financial system reporting.
Drive design improvements to our financial reporting systems, ensuring maximized productivity, better financial controls, and superior financial data for business decisions.
Support internal and external audits with required information access and ensure compliance of all SOX related guidelines.
Assist senior financial management with ad hoc reporting as required.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Information Technology required.
Master’s degree in Finance and/or Information Technology preferred

Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Oracle EssBase systems required.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an accounting/finance position.
