ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Production support, development, and operator responsibilities for the following applications:

• Hyperion EssbaseHyperion Smartview and Essbase add-inHyperion
• PlanningHyperion Financial ReportsOracle Data Integrator (ODI)
• Maintain Hyperion applications in compliance with SOX and HIPAA requirements.
• Translate user requirements into technical specifications.
• Create and maintain technical application documentation.
• Create and maintain the data flows required by Hyperion applications.
• Strong knowledge of finance transactional systems.
• Promote and develop automation processes within current and future application flows.
• Research and recommend best practices.
• Assist with technical patches, upgrades and system/application migrations.
• Educate business users and IT leadership about the power of Hyperion and possibilities of using it for improving financial or operational processes.
• Mentor for junior developers.

• Will support one or more client groups including interaction across multiple levels of the organization.
• Will work with and coordinate efforts across all departments within IT related to project planning and execution.
• Capable of working independently with business partners in software requirements and system support while keeping team members well informed of efforts.

• 5+ years experience in a similar position.
• 5+ years of experience in calc scripts, maxl, Essbase application.
• Planning, HPCM.
• 5+ years experience in Hyperion development.
• 5+ years of combined accounting and/or reporting experience.
• Experience with batch scripting and automation using MaxL, VB, and/or other scripting languages.
• Strong experience in financial report studio to create the complex reports.
• Solid experience working with data modeling techniques.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

• Knowledge of financial systems including areas of accounting, finance, budgeting and forecasting, and financial analytics.
