PeopleSoft Instructional Designer
Location: Minneapolis,MN
Length: 5 Months

One will focus on HRMS (Human Resources) and the other on Finance in the ESUP PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade program.

This position is responsible for training and development of educational resources as assigned. Participating as a team member on creating, developing, implementing and evaluating courses is required. This position is responsible for creating both online and classroom educational resources.

Essential Functions: Instructional Design

Use the ADDIE model to create, write, edit, implement and evaluate courses, including all education materials, exercises and scripts/lesson plans.
Evaluate existing courses and make recommendations for change as part of a team.
Participate as a team member to revise existing classes.
Use various software to create online learning modules and instructional aids. Software needed includes: Captivate, Microsoft Products, and Course/Content Management Systems such as Moodle.

Training Delivery

Responsible for delivery of training classes in accordance with approved class development.
Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs and deliver distance learning, classroom, customized in-house and one on one training sessions.
Deliver training on coordinate campuses as assigned.
Coordinate and maintain training regions for classes. Load and stage data.

Communications

Present to various client and user groups as requested.
Meet with other central units to provide and receive regular updates; incorporate into classes; communicate to other trainers.

Other

Establish and maintain successful client relationships.
Continually research and study policies and related information pertinent to all classes to maintain the most accurate class content possible. Share knowledge with functional teams.
Other duties as assigned.
20% Training Delivery: Delivery of technical training content in classroom, unit level, one-on-one and online environments.
65% Instructional Design: Develop training materials, instructional aids, facilitation techniques, interactive participant activities, prepare scripts and online courses.
15% Assessments: Prepare and administer pre and post training assessments.
