  • This position is primarily responsible for supporting People Soft Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits Systems while working closely with People Soft Financial System and Student System Analyst Programmers, other ITS staff, as well as the Human Resources department.
  • While primarily a People Soft 9.2 and People Tools 8.54 environment, the HRMS system interfaces with a variety of other systems and third party vendors that include ADP, Cigna Healthcare and various retirement providers.
  • Job responsibilities include application maintenance and upgrades, configuration and customization of applications, development of internal and external interfaces, as well as, troubleshooting and production support.
  • The analyst should have experience with People Soft modules and People Tools core technology for example People Code, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflow and Integration Broker.
  • The Analyst must be an effective communicator (verbal and written) who enjoys working with and keeping in touch with a wide campus constituency.
  • The Analyst/Programmer will work with users, other IT staff and outside consultants to develop functional and technical requirements for needed functionality.
  • They will implement the applications/enhancements as a critical member of the team.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree and at least two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Experience with PeopleSoft modules and PeopleTools core technology for example PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Workflow and Integration Broker.
  • Demonstrated experience with SQR and web programming.
  • Strong ERP implementation and support experience.
  • Proven experience working with various relational databases.
  • A team oriented person with a can-do approach to getting the job done.
  • A self-starter who derives pleasure and satisfaction from doing a good job.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Human Resources, Payroll and Benefits.
  • Experience with content/document management.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Experience in higher education IT environment.
  • Prior experience leading projects
