- Understanding business performances, assessing the business impact of those results and summarizing data.
- Capturing, analyzing and documenting key performance indicators (KPI) regarding the accounts business.
- Supporting the communication and delivery of those KPIs with relevant internal/external stakeholders.
- Collaborating with Sales, Merchant, Design, Product Development, Sourcing and Account Management partners to gather pertinent data/facts in support of the determined objectives.
- Strategic Planning (25%)Determining where the business is going and how it will get there.
- Assist EVP with strategies encompassing the purpose and values of the organization, and focus on setting medium- and long-term goals.
- Obtaining and evaluating information about online selling performance.
- Finding white space opportunities.Researching internal/external data/human resources and translating those into clear, actionable applications for our business.
- Identifying additional sales/inventory opportunities and implementing actions that improve ROI.
- Assisting EVP in the research and development of forecast/planning tools and processes that support the account objectives.Omni-channel Positioning (20%)Partnering with respective merchants/planners to ensure they have the tools, information and support that they need to achieve incremental business growth (expanded assortments, elevated fabrics, etc.).
- Assisting EVP in the effective/efficient development of omni-channel capabilities that support the organizations timing and objectives.
- Product Set Up, Maintenance & Optimization (20%)Delivering accurate and efficient set-up of items including key content, attributes, etc. in support of objectives.
- Ensuring item page meets bench marking industry and best in class.
- Monitor ratings and reviews for action.
- Owning Search/Navigation optimization through constant exploration and maximization of partnerships.
- Partner with account to drive awareness. Deliver Quarterly Review that report KPIs, category performance, etc.
- Other duties may be assigned in accordance with company needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Minimum 2-4 years experience in a Retail Planner / Analyst role within the apparel industry, including strategic thinking and thought leadershipAnalytical background required
- Strong knowledge and experience working in the Windows PC environment specifically ExcelExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsMust be able to work in a fast paced environment
