- The E-Commerce Merchandiser will creatively combine photography, product features and descriptions into a compelling story to drive sales.
- This creative individual uses a keen writing sense, creative abilities and technical skills to deliver unique product descriptions and edited photos that capture the customers attention.
- Essential Functions: Assist Merchandising Manager to keep products organized and presented professionally across all brand channels.
- Write creative and compelling product descriptions while maintaining web standards. Maintain quality control of images, features and descriptions as part of daily activities.
- Offers analysis, creative ideas and solves problems in a thoughtful way in the team atmosphere.Job Requirements: Bachelors degree preferred, but not required Ability to create product descriptions that communicate, inform, persuade and accurately portray the brand Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability and willingness to work in a collaborative environment Keen eye towards photography, digital imaging, design and layout Strong command in current graphic and web design software including Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Front Page Must have strong troubleshooting, self-management and project management skills Hockey or lacrosse background is preferred, but not required Portfolio of previous work available upon request
