Program Manager, Strategy & Planning C2H or Long Term, San Francisco Bay Area, CA

SUMMARY 

The Program Manager will be adept at working cross-functionally with stakeholders in Product Management, Cloud & Delivery, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and other departments as required. The ability to lead projects of varying size and complexity, manage roadmaps and budgets, implement best practices, create and manage centralized dashboards, communicate issues/risks/progress, and “pivot when necessary” will be critical to success. 

 

Focus for this role will be InfoSec and Compliance frameworks, IT implementations, M&A integrations, Business Operations, or Workplace Services. Preferred candidates will bring demonstrated experience in one or more of these areas.  

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Gather requirements during intake process, develop a budget and operating plan for the program, managing to long term strategic goals.  
  • Develop and manage program roadmaps, project plans, issues, and risks. 
  • Work closely with IT, InfoSec, Business Operations, Cloud Security Operations, Legal & Compliance, and other stakeholders and functional owners as needed to develop well-defined strategies and for project execution.  
  • Provide oversight to ensure overall program and project goals are met for information security (InfoSec), IT, Business Operations, and Workplace Services  
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams by prioritizing and coordinating all aspects of program execution to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.  
  • Build trusted relationships across the organization and leverage these relationships effectively to validate assumptions, acquire useful information, negotiate among competing objectives, resolve issues, manage change, and achieve consensus.   
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of program/project status throughout its life cycle to senior management and stakeholders.  
  • Analyze program risks and seek to mitigate or minimize Clients overall risk profile.   
  • Advance the program management discipline within ETO to include documenting processes and coordinating with teams across the organization.  
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.  

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 5 years of proven working experience (Required)  
  • Experience managing programs (Preferred) 
  • Experience managing InfoSec, IT, Business Operations or Workplace Services projects (Preferred) 
  • Experience demonstrating discretion in environments containing highly sensitive information. Preferred)  
  • Working experience with ServiceNow SPM, Jira & Confluence (Preferred) 
  • Self-starter with excellent business/financial acumen  


EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS 

  • High School Diploma / GED Equivalent (Required) 
  • 4 Year/ Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business administration or related field (Preferred) 
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered  
  • PMP, CAPM, CSM, or other industry certifications (Preferred)
