DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Write, update, and maintain computer programs or softwarepackages to handle specific tasks, increase efficiency, or adapt to newrequirements;
  
• Compile and write documentation of program development andsubsequent revisions, developing training so others can understand the program;
  
• Conduct test runs of programs and software applications tobe sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions arecorrect;
  
• Perform systems analysis and programming tasks to maintainand control the use of computer systems software;
  
• Assess the usefulness of pre-developed applicationpackages, additional modules, and new functions arriving by updates, adaptingthem to a user environment;
  
• Complete projects within established timelines and withinbudget constraints with high quality.
  
• Provide in-house technical support and consultation on theuse and features of software solutions.
  
• Architect, design, develop, and maintain new and existingsoftware solutions.
  
• Partnering with business users to gather all requirementsto formulate business specifications and translating those into businessfunctionality.
  
• Documenting workflows and results of business analysis andobtaining sign-off from users on specifications.
  
• Assisting the technical team in translating applicationfunctionality into application architecture and the production of a businesssolution.
  
• Designing and executing test plans to ensure that businessrequirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meetROI objectives.
  
• Understanding the long-term business objectives and suggestingstrategies to meet those objectives; introducing innovation to businessprocesses through technology if appropriate.
  
• Responsible for the design and development ofmodifications or extensions to the Microsoft Dynamics AX application.
  
• Ability to apply knowledge of system capability todetermine feasibility of projects.
  
• Develops, edits and maintains operating procedures andstandards manuals.
  
• Conducts training sessions to implement new or improvedsystems and procedures.
  
• Conducts meetings on all levels of management for purposesof presentations, reviews, approvals of recommendations, etc.
  
• Recognizes and identifies potential areas where existingbusiness services policies and procedures require change, or where new onesneed to be developed, and make recommendations in these areas.
  
• Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team membersto understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design ofquality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business andIS&T strategies and comply with the organizations architectural standards.
  
• Involved in the full systems life cycle and is responsiblefor designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining and supportingapplication software that is delivered on time and within budget..
  
• Participation in component and data architecture design,performance monitoring, product evaluation and buy versus buildrecommendations. Has experience in systems analysis, design and a solid understanding of development, quality assurance and integration methodologies.
  
• Resolves customer complaints and responds to suggestions for improvement and enhancements from third party customers.
  
• At least 3 years of experience in project execution and 5 years of technical experience in MS Dynamics AX 2012, with programming expertise in X++, clear understanding on data model, Reports development using SSRS and system configuration for modules in AX and thorough understanding of functionalities on AX 2012 R2/R3.
  
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability todrive an independent project from an architectural stand point
  
• Takes on Initiatives ranging from small modifications tonew module/bolt-on implementations.
  
• Responsible for functional specifications, system configuration, solution testing, ensuring acceptance testing, end-user training and support.
  
• Participates in the implementation as a subject matter expert and represents customer's business requirements.
  
• Engages the team through his/her enthusiasm and about the business and technology.

â?¢  At least three yearsâ?? experience with Supply Chainand ERP systems with in-depth understanding of the distribution/supply chainindustry, its practices, and operations.

â?¢Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, ComputerApplications, or a closely related field, or the equivalent work experience.

â?¢5 years of progressively responsible experience developingin ERP Systems, System Administration, Microsoft SQL Server, Object-OrientedDesign (OOD), AX Testing, and X++ development.

â?¢At least  2 years of experience with AX 2012, AIF, AXBatch Processing, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and above, and Team FoundationServer.

â?¢SQL Server 2008 and newer.

â?¢T-SQL development of complex procedures and functions.

â?¢Multi-tier Object Oriented Application Development using .Net Framework.

â?¢Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010and/or newer.
