Skills & Requirements
- Desired skills and experience include, but are not limited to:College degree in Computer Science or demonstrable related experience5 or more years of SQL experienceMinimum 2 years of ERP programming experience and hands-on work with full life-cycle implementations2 or more years of experience as a software developer specifically working with the Dynamics NAV C/SIDE C/AL development languageNAV 2015, NAV 2013, NAV 2009 R2 and Role Tailored Client (RTC) development experience (including page and report development)2 or more years of experience with PHP and/or .NET a huge plusPrior Dynamics NAV upgrade and data migration experience highly desiredMicrosoft Dynamics NAV certification(s) or certifications in a related discipline a plus
- Ability to document code customizations in compliance with established standards and practicesAbility to debug errors efficiently and effectivelyCapability of managing multiple assignments simultaneously
- Capability of testing one\'s own work and delivering working products
- Configure, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics NAV software and components in all functional areasCreate new and modify existing customizations as requested by internal departments Perform data conversions, debug system problems, and craft resolutionsInstall and implement service packs and hot fixes as needed
- Act as a technical liaison to business groups for application supportTest functionality developed by the implementation team against business requirementsSupport and drive change process and communicationCoordinate and contribute to end-user training including development of system documentation and training materialsAssist in functional specification of customizations required for Microsoft Dynamics NAV implementations
- Take responsibility for the customized unit programming and overall system functionalityWork with the Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Consultants to understand the business / application requirements of the assigned taskDeliver code customizations with proper documentation
