The Data Integration Specialist is responsible for Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data from disparate source systems internal and external to Springs Window Fashions. The position is also responsible for maintaining, supporting, and enhancing existing integration systems as well as assisting in the ongoing development of technical best practices for data movement, data quality, data cleansing and other ETL related activities. â?¢ Implements interfaces to meet the client specific specifications, after fully understanding client specific configurations â?¢ Follows standard test plan to test each client and ensure that configured functionality meets the needs of the client â?¢ Negotiates and makes changes to existing interfaces requested by client and/or solution specific implementation consultants â?¢ Provides status reporting to Information Technology management and business owners on project updates; supports efforts and issues. â?¢ Maintains a high degree of technology awareness of hardware and software in areas of responsibility. â?¢ Ensures the Quality Assurance procedures and IT policies are followed. â?¢ Provides a technical role in researching alternate solutions, and making recommendations associated with the development, testing and implementation of integration solutions. â?¢ Participates in project teams to deliver total business solutions. Ensures total project is in accordance with departmental standards and methodology. â?¢ Conducts system testing, user acceptance testing, conversion, and user training as needed. â?¢ Participates in addressing issues in a timely manner and guiding or training Help Desk Associates on issue resolution. â?¢ Works within project timelines to meet integration milestones built into project plans â?¢ Meets regularly with the internal Product Management team regarding bug fixes, enhancement requests and other issues JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related field with a minimum of 3 years work experience with data migration/integration. â?¢ Experience with full and incremental data extract from large ERP â?¢ Strong SQL and web services skills used as an integration tool â?¢ Knowledge of Access a plus â?¢ Experience with SAP and/or knowledge of SAP PI a plus but not required
