Position: Big Data / Hadoop Engineer
Location: Englewood, CO

Years of Experience: 9+
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
- GURU like skills in SQL
- ETL and processing from disparate data sets using appropriate technologies including but not limited to, Hive, Pig, MapReduce, HBase, Spark, Snowflake and Kafka
- Basic stats and have built or worked in detail with a data warehouse at least once
- Experience operating a Data Pipeline. (Spark, Hive/Hadoop, RDS)
- Polyglot (python, go, java)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins)
- A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices
- A strong passion for learning and adapting to new technologies
