- Provide direct support to Application teams
- Participate in design discussions, prototype development
- Monitor database and server performance and identify current and future potential bottle-necks
- Your star qualities includes' BS in Computer Science or related engineering discipline or 3+ years of Database administration experience
- Strong understanding of Database technologies with hands on experience with RAC, encryption, partitioning, etc.2+ years of working Linux experience (Red Hat or Oracle Enterprise Linux)
- 2+ years Oracle backup and recovery experience
- 2+ years of Oracle RAC administration experience
- 2+ years of PL/SQL development experience
- Experience with system monitoring and logging tools (Syslog, SNMP, OpsView, Nagios, or similar tools)
- Prior experience with security standards (PCI-DSS, SANS, HIPPA, SSAE-16)
- Familiar with Enterprise hardware and SAN based storages (DELL / EMC blades and storage, or similar)
- Energetic and motivated, with a passion for technology
- A forward-thinking problem solver with exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with facility to cultivate supportive relationships within the team
- Very strong, delivery focused work ethic that takes ownership and produces results
- Must be willing and able to work the on-call rotation schedule

- Working experience with Oracle 12c or above
- Familiarity with DELL / EMC blades server, storage and backup solutions, including Unity, Avamar, Data Domain, or similar products).Linux Administration and experience with shell scripting
