The Database Administrator - Postgres / Oracle is a critical member of the IT Operations team, managing NAB’s production and development databases. The DBA must be a critical thinker, capable of making rapid, well-informed, independent judgments in support of NAB’s business-critical systems.
The Database Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, maintenance and patching of database systems for our PostgreSQL and Oracle platforms. This person participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the database systems. The DBA ensures that databases and related systems comply with internal and external standards and security requirements.
