Responsibility:

• Provide the cutting edge cloud database testing strategy & planning
  
• Develop and maintain an aspirational testing architectural road map focusing on the field of the cloud database and keep it continually evolving
  
• Establish a complete testing process and automated testing framework
  
• Communicate architectural decisions, plans, goals and strategies with business stakeholders
  
• Lead a global team to do a end-to-end delivery of cloud database products in high quality
  
• Hire the testing talents to build a high-quality testing team
  
• Identification of different key technology in cloud database
  
• Direct the architecture, design and development of cloud database such as RDS, DWS, etc.
  
• Hands on experience on cloud database design and development such as:
  
• Cloud data migration from private cloud to public cloud, from TP to AP, across service, across DC, etc
  
• Cloud data replication across data center
  
• Cloud database deployment and installation
  
• Cloud online capacity expansion
  
• Cloud online upgrade
  
• Cloud online backup and restore
  
• Cloud multi-tenant, resource isolation and resource management
  
• Cloud database performance monitoring and tuning
  
• Cloud database fault diagnostic and failure recovery
  
• Cloud database disaster recovery
  

Education & Experience

• Must have M.S degree, prefer Ph.D in Computer Science, Engineering or related area
  
• 10+ years working experience in Database testing area, technical management skill required
  
• Extensive experience with the testing framework and automation and database kernel testing in an IaaS environment like AWS, or Azure or any other public cloud
  
• Strategic vision with clear knowledge of the future evolving of the testing architecture
  
• Extensive experience with the architecture of the mainstream cloud services, for example, AWS
