Undergeneral direction of Supervisor, shall perform:

• All field activites relating to the collection ofunpaid/delinquent accounts, high bill investigations and other related work.
• Shall perform functions relating to the troubleshooting,replacement, installing, repairing, reading and other related work as assignedof water meters and meter reading devices for all sizes of meters andmanagement’s discretion.
• Locat and operate curb stops and valves for all size meters.
• Makes repairs and adjustments such as, packing box leaks,replacing or installing meter couplings, unions, nipples, valves, AMI or otherrelated reading equipment, etc.
• Reports and unusual conditions observed on customers’premises, such as but not limited to tampered meters or unauthorized use.
• Will substitute for the Leader – Meter Department positionfirst, in order of seniority.
• Creates and maintains records and reports related to workperformed/assigned on a daily basis.
• Performs snow removal as required.
• Performs similar, related or lesser duties when assigned.
• Assists Leader Meter Department with stock inventory asdirected.
• Shift Work requirement, Monday – Saturday.
• Must perform emergency standby duty.
• Must have a valid Stte Driver’s License.
