Job Description

  • The Supply Chain Director has proven experience both managing and influencing large scale global pharmaceutical supply chain networks.
  • A leader in building internal and external collaborations, the Director has advanced business acumen.
  • The Director has responsibility for the management of operations of several groups within supply chain: production planning, logistics, Oracle OPM system business owner.
  • The Director has proven supervisory and leadership capabilities.
  • As the leader of key supplier working teams, the Director will optimize interdisciplinary understanding and integrate activities with those of our suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align supply and demand for commercial manufacturing materials from raw materials through global finished kits
  • Development of complex commercial production and supply plans
  • Key contributor to selection and management of global suppliers
  • Lead key supplier cross functional working teams
  • Oversees a multi-faceted supply chain team consist of several supply chain disciplines
  • Contributes to multi-year supply agreement contract negotiations with team including Legal, Finance and other related functional groups with support from senior management
  • Designs and implements department goals and participates in goal setting for Pharmaceutical Operations department
  • Conducts executive level presentations on critical supply chain issues and initiatives
  • Maintains responsibility for large scale budget

Technical And Communication Skills

  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Demonstrates knowledge of material planning and logistics activities in support of pharmaceutical supply chains
  • Fosters a team environment of confidence and commitment and models the core values throughout the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully plan and optimize all resources of a group or function (budgets, staff, technology) for advancement of goals and objectives
