  • OLE:Sr. Director, Applications Engineering Location:Florham Park, NJThis position will be responsible for the conception, development, implementation and management of the IT application development through QA testing.
  • Job Scope and Major Responsibilities: Oversee the operation and management of the IT development process to ensure adherence to current and future business requirements.Manage IT business development, IT software development, QA testing and deployment into production.
  • Internal and external IT staff development.
  • Oversee design and software for all IT applications and new project development.
  • Provide a project dashboard to report on project status, cost vs. budget.
  • Collaborate with the IT Manager to address helpdesk tickets requiring system maintenance.Support all application programing as it relates to Asembia programs, i.e. Hub, Asembia1, Clinical Consult, Data Programs and GPO.
  • Develop standard operation procedures (SOPs) for the IT department.Oversee all outsourced software development, coordinate and report on software release schedule with Operations and IT teams.
  • Organize and prioritize information on Share point and other data sharing programs, work with the management team to determine needs.Review all requests for new development, optimize requests for projects, and coordinate through release management.Oversee all web-based initiatives.
  • Update URAC policies and procedures and implement changes and auditing of policy for compliance.
  • Respond to security questionnaires relating to application programming.
  • Oversee application development and programming in GPO manager coded in FoxPro.
  • Define software development costs and manage development within approved cost parameters.
  • Ensure that all software development meets HIPAA and HITRUST standards of security.
  • Manage all IT software reliability needs on a company-wide basis.
  • Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of new software development experience (coding and design) preferably in .net.
  • 3+ years of experience in managing internal and external Software Developers.
  • Ability to mobilize and lead technical teams to achieve company goals and long-term IT objectives.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with business leaders to prioritize IT changes and projects.
  • Ability to oversee QA testing and the release process.
  • Capable of recommending vendor products, services, and solutions to impact cost reductions and resource maximization.Knowledge of HIPAA compliance a plus.
