  • Evaluate existing KPIs, historical analytics, financial documents, and strategic long range plans to formulate a quantitative operational plan to grow top line revenue while preserving operating income targets.
  • Dive deep into each of the functional business units and interview key leaders and subject matter experts to qualitatively assess areas of focus and optimization that will drive efficiency and value to the overall business.
  • Bring an informed point of view on day-to-day process modeling to complement and evolve existing tools, workflow, and prioritization methodologies for cross-functional business execution.
  • Champion development of eCommerce capabilities and merchandising programs which will drive business growth and stimulate consumer engagement for the US and global regions.
  • Evaluate and propose key resource needs for areas of strategic focus in order to supplement existing teams and expertise.
  • Evaluate and propose improvements to planning and buying processes in order to optimize inventory turnover, forecasting tools to support changes in demand, and the efficient flow of inventory into US warehouses to reduce inventory cost and age.In partnership with the Sr. Manager of eCommerce Marketing, assess and identify new channels of customer acquisition and retention in order to bring new fans into the brand and better compel existing fans to increase lifetime value.Evaluate existing calendar process and provide guidance to Senior Site Managers on operations and improvement.
  • Provide constructive input and suggestions to portfolio engineering and platform operations team to improve the eCommerce platform and application.
  • Work with cross-functional user experience architect to assess current state and prioritize future enhancements to optimize conversion funnel and overall consumer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for an Executive level Dashboard recapping site performance and consumer feedback for the portfolio of brands for the benefit of senior management and other functional areas within the company.
  • Develop bottoms up annual budget for U.S. eCommerce business and ensure profit targets are reached through brand-right initiatives.
  • Recommend reallocation of budget or shift in investment as necessary based on changing conditions and discovered opportunities.Drive overall consumer satisfaction across the portfolio of brands, partnering with the Senior Site Managers to measure consumer satisfaction and frustration through various leading indicators (ie. Net Promoter Score, etc.) and develop plans to continuously improve user experience and training of internal teams.
  • Develop a mentorship-driven culture where cross-functional knowledge sharing and expertise building is a core focus of the departments goals and focus. Effectively communicate responsibilities and expectations.
  • Provide clear, direct and timely feedback. Advocate for employee development and advancement.Lead an international eCommerce summit a least once a year to ensure collaboration on global and local ideas and priorities.
  • Knowledge/Skills Required:10+ Years in senior-level operations, merchandising and marketing e-commerce positions, with rapid advancement, for successful eCommerce retailers. Global operational and leadership experience required.
  • Preferred exposure to Canada, Western Europe, and Japan markets.Deep understanding of retail planning, buying, and merchandising tools, processes, and performance metrics.Effective negotiator with previous experience of managing a portfolio of external vendors and agencies.
  • Proven ability to understand and communicate with internal general counsel on contract optimization and structure.Previous experience managing a global ecommerce business of $50+M in revenue with annual growth rates of >40%Experience overseeing a highly service oriented eCommerce department.Demonstrated team building, planning and innovation skills.
Strong computer and analytical skills:

  • Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, BI tools - SAP experience desiredBachelors Degree from a four-year college or university academic focus in marketing, eCommerce and/or business preferred OR equivalent experience.
