Title:Linux/Pega Systems Administrator
ClearanceRequired: Top Secret
StartDate:ASAP
EstimatedContract Duration: 12/2021, or longer. Chance ofextension and/or permanent conversion
Schedule:M-F first shift
Location:Remote* initially, then post COVID will sit in Washington, DCMetro area
Parking:Easy access from metro/public transportation. No parking providedonsite.
Compensation:Competitive, weekly pay based on qualifications
JobDescription:
- Learn the Pega Platform quickly
- Maintains everything from the Systems Admin standpoint on the Pega side of the house
- Linux server maintenance
- Tomcat administration
- Leads and participates in efforts to implement application updates
- Performs application deployment and application migration
- Works with Pega application developers to troubleshooting the issues in all Environments.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- 5x+ years of Linux systems administration experience preferred
- 3+ years of experience with shell scripts and Ansible for administration automation
- 2+ years of experience with application, database backup and recovery planning
- AWS exposure strongly preferred
- Tomcat and shell/Ansible scripting
- Experience with ServiceNow, Peoplesoft, SalesForce, COTS application
- Willingness to quickly learn the Pega application, some experience preferred
