Job Description
- Operations Procurement/Production Planning Intern

Key Responsibilities
- Monitors requirements for the near-term horizon to insure supplier delivery.
- Takes responsibility and ownership to aggressively resolve shortages to avoid or minimize production downtime.
- Manage MRP and visual inventory control tools to optimize operations performance in terms of delivery and Net Working Capital
- Responsible to manage inventory of the parts in assigned commodity group.
- This management should result in inventory turns in support of divisional goals.
- Evaluates situations objectively and demonstrates the ability to make timely decisions that are intended to have a positive effect on work performance.
- Reviews and resolves issues with supplier invoices for payment.
- Coordinates the process to resolve quality issues with assigned components.
- Will spend time working in and understanding the process for production planning of orders to the manufacturing line.
- Will work on various global Supply Chain projects
