Job description

Job Summary

  • Provide guidance and functional expertise for use of the Lawson Billing Revenue Applications (Billing Revenue BR, Activities AC, General Ledger ?? GL,
  • Accounts Receivable ? AR, Tax - TX) and any associated custom solutions developed by .
  • Coordinate with development support staff of other Lawson modules and external systems regarding integrations with Lawson Billing Revenue.
  • Lead work efforts with developers and business owners to maximize functionality and efficiencies of the systems according to business needs.
  • Work with LSAs, business owners and developers to identify and test patches and new system versions and resolve issues with existing versions.
  • Provide functional support to business users as needed.
  • Perform maintenance tasks associated with customer set up and configuration.
  • Must be able to work with moderate direction and minimal supervision.
  • Leads team efforts through functional expertise, use of best practices and in-depth knowledge to provide highly creative solutions.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Creates deliverables independently and in conjunction with the business area.
  • Ability to multi-task, given various assignments, assisting management in prioritization of tasks.
  • This includes working on multiple projects at a time with different specialties and business owners.
  • This also includes working with projects at different phases ? implementation, vendor analysis, support, etc.
  • Take ownership of responsibilities, working individually or with teams to accomplish goals. In some cases, the analyst will need to act as a PM, BA, Product Analyst, tester, etc.
  • Works with customers to ensure project dates are met and ensures timely completion of deliverables.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Major Responsibilities

  • 35% Provide guidance and subject matter expertise for projects involving use of Lawson Billing Revenue tools in accordance with standards.
  • 35% Maintain centralized configuration for customer and department set up within the application while researching and recommending improvements for automation, providing input and direction for current and long-term use of Lawson Billing Revenue based on current and future business needs.
  • 25% Provide support to developers and business owners in evaluating and testing new system versions and patches
  • 15% Provide other functional support to business users and development staff as needed. Provides product/technical direction for less experienced analysts or other team members working on the project.

EDUCATION

  • College graduate preferred
  • Special Qualifications
  • Experience with Financial Applications that facilitate Billing and Receivable related tasks with the latest technology.
  • Experienced in the implementation and deployment of interface and integration requirements for financial systems.
  • Integration with third party application experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Proven leadership ability with strong business analysis and integration development experience.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Some local travel may be required
  • Typical work week hours can vary depending on workload and project deliverables; on-call/occasional weekend work schedule required periodically to support month end closing
