HRIS (Lawson SME or Power User) Coordinator, Sr.Loc:Decatur, GA

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordination of the new hire data entry process by analyzing work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities.
  • Conducts training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Trains clients on new processes/functionality. Trains new system users.
  • Ensures accurate and timely processing of all employee personnel transactions to include hires, transfers, promotions, leave of absence, terminations and other employee data changes into the Lawson system.
  • Runs various reports, audits and reviews data entered into the system to ensure data integrity.
  • Research errors, contacts appropriate individual for further information and makes appropriate corrections in the system.
  • Acts as the Lawson subject matter expert / power user of HRIS systems for the organization.
  • This includes End User support, issue resolution and process improvement and documentation, including maintenance of the Supervisor and Department Tables.
  • Serves as project team member on Lawson system enhancements with defining requirements, testing, training, and documentation.
  • Offers recommendations regarding upgrades of products to include integration/interfacing with other applications, implementation and post-implementation support/follow up.
  • Acts as primary liaison with Information Technology programmers and analysts to troubleshoot problems and resolve systems-related issues and/or changes to Lawson.
  • Oversees non-employee databases for Contract Employees and Volunteer Services ensuring accurate and timely processing of all contractors and volunteers into the system.
  • Oversees HR Associates an HR files and processes.
  • Continuously strives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of existing systems and tools and looks for alternatives that better meet business needs.
  • Maintains the utmost confidentiality at all times.
  • Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and teams.
  • Participates in supporting the organizations vision, mission and values and adheres to Standards of Behavior.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives
Qualifications:
  • Minimum Education, Experience and Licensure/Certifications
  • Required: Associated Degree or 2 years of college coursework
  • 5-7 years of related HR/HRIS experience
  • Bachelor degree preferred
