- Utilizes applicable SDLC phases, activities and tasks to deliver quality work products for clearly defined projects in the following areas: Analysis, Design, Testing, Implementation, Support and Maintenance.
- Design, develop, review and test customized code and deploy tested and quality-approved code into live environment.
- Leads meetings and/or facilitated strategy sessions, analyzes processes and recommends and implements improvements.
- Work closely with business teams to collect and document business needs (i.e. performing diagnostics, discovery, etc.).
- Engage with the business to collect details to define implementation road map, solution blue printing, etc.
- Resolves project issues independently and with minimal escalation to Director-level.
- Offer oversight to internal and external teams throughout the implementation process.
Essential:
- SME with core business processes such as accounting, distribution and manufacturing required
- Ability to move between high level architectural review/design and the roll up the sleeves level of actually doing all phases of an application delivery project.
- Deep functional knowledge of the AX financial, supply chain or production modules.
- Experience with Dynamics AX 2012R3 and related technology products.
- Expert in at least 2 major areas of Dynamics AX and 1 minor areas of Dynamics AX.
- Examples of include: Finance/Trade Logistics, Trade Logistics/Manufacturing, Finance/Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with multi-phase, multi-country, enterprise-wide AX implementation.
- Specific knowledge of core Dynamics AX development tools, including X++, MorphX.
- Familiarity and/or experience with Dynamics AX Workflow.Minimum of 2 full lifecycle AX implementations.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Desirable but not essential:Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
- Experience with other Dynamics solutions (AX, SL, NAV, CRM) a plus
- Experience with SQL tools: SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Integration Services and SQL Analysis ServicesConsulting experienceMBS Dynamics AX certified preferred
- Experience implementing other Tier 1 ERP solutions (JD Edwards, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, IFS) a plus
