- This position involves performing CAE and test-based analysis to support the delivery of Vehicle Dynamics Handling performance.Utilize CAE tools to support an efficient development process.
- Develop new CAE tools and refine existing CAE tools to help deliver Handling performance enhancements and further tuning/development process efficiencies.
- Oversee vehicle tests as required; interpret test results to guide development.This position offers the opportunity to work with highly motivated and experienced engineers within Ford Vehicle Dynamics while learning about and developing new tools and procedures Ford will use to design future vehicles.
- Minimum Requirements:B.S. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering3+ years of automotive experience in Vehicle Dynamics development3+ years of experience identifying and resolving Handling issues2+ years of experience using CAE tools for multi-body dynamics analysisPreferred
- M.S. in Mechanical or Automotive EngineeringExperience in design and development of vehicle suspensions, bushings/mounts and Body/Chassis structuresKnowledge and application of control system theory acquired through university coursework or work experienceThe distance between imagination and.
